Read me kindly and I’ll change for you.

Daily writing prompt
What change, big or small, would you like your blog to make in the world?

The point is to tell the difference between good and bad change for God is an ambivalent thing

Change is happening without assistance
from dubious me, happens whether I
am there to think I birth it, take a stance
upon it - tease its meaning or let lie
the haphazard need of truth. Come near
me now - and let your lips mouth my verse.
See, I then can live in you, my words clear
in your sweet voice, no longer needs to curse
the world because you taught me language. Red plague
is rare, despite the fear of those who gain
from being in power over the vague
pale mass that lacks assertion, proud of pain
inflicted on itself by itself. Let's see
and hope one day you'll prove what's wrong is me.

Caliban in The Tempest:

You taught me language; and my profit on ‘t
Is, I know how to curse: the red plague rid you,
For learning me your language.
