To find one thing amongst the many gifts
That you bring to me is like parsing poems:

Whatever he meant, you are to me that
Wind of change that charges up the empty
Battery that was my life before love
Like yours transformed it into daffodils.
Now I am old, reviewing all that time
Before you came and those lapses that my
Silly self made in the long interim,
I know that only you is the matter
That makes my life no longer a black hole.
Each one of eighty four years truly has
A tale to tell of who you are. For me
Today, this day of birth is like the one
Recycling day of all you are coming
To rest with me at home. I hope your Day
Lifts up your heart as you lift mine to all
We know of heaven: enough for me that.
